BCBA


About The Position:

  • Administers, conducts, evaluates and supervises the implementation of behavioral assessment measures and functional assessment measures
  • Develops individualized goals and objectives for home programs and designs behavior support plans based on functional assessment data
  • Ensures appropriate behavioral data systems are implemented such that quantifiable behavioral data is collected at regular intervals to allow for the continual evaluation of behavior plans and the achievement of individual goals and objectives
  • Trains BCBA’s, RBT’s and ABA’s on the proper implementation of educational and clinical behavior programs and plans, data collection systems and all necessary monitoring and reporting systems
  • Is responsible for ongoing individual program oversight and conducting weekly supervision meetings with BCBA’s, RBT’s or ABA therapists
  • Meets regularly with Lead BCBA and notifies her/him immediately of issues impacting client’s progress and satisfaction
  • Completes all necessary documentation in a timely and satisfactory manner as requested by the Director of Operations
  • Oversees and directs the scheduling of BCBA’s, RBT’s or ABA’s as needed and ensure proper billing
  • Maintains billable caseload and documents billable hours according to Unique Pathways policy and state and federal regulation
  • Actively communicates and participates in the Unique Pathways, LLC's outreach efforts to community
  • Participates in professional meetings or conferences deemed to be beneficial program development
  • Adheres to the mission, vision and values of Unique Pathways, LLC
  • Responds to referrals for service in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Adheres to Unique Pathways Employee Handbook
Requirements:
  • A master's degree and educational coursework completed in the areas of marriage and family therapy, child development, special education, psychology, or related field.
  • Certification from the BACB® and Licensed by the Board of Medicine in the State of Texas.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of DTT, PECS, and other ABA strategies.
  • A minimum of three years' experience working directly with children with Autism and/or developmental delays.
  • A minimum of three-years experience supervising BCaBA, RBT's or ABA Therapist
  • Minimum of five years experience with children ages 2-18
  • Willing to travel in and around DFW Metroplex
  • CPR Certified
  • Clean driving record
  • Full coverage insurance on vehicle
  • Clean background check (Drug Screen and Criminal Background Check)

RBT


About The Position: The position will offer a variety of training experience in the natural environment, home of clients, and school setting. Therapists will be provided with on the job training, monthly team trainings and supervision from BCBA and/BCaBA.

  • Instruction and implementation of behavioral, social and academic objectives assigned by Supervisor and/or BCBA
  • Material preparation, goal implantation, data collection
  • Natural environment therapies
  • Field trips with child
  • Monthly training sessions
  • Attend all company team meetings or meetings scheduled through Supervisor
  • Provide direct therapy in individual and group sessions
  • Complete weekly program writing and maintain client's program book
  • Work with consultant and implement individualized goals and checklists
  • Implement individualized treatment plan as written and directed by consultant
  • Graph data as instructed
  • Maintain respect and confidentiality for all clients
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state of- the-art practices; participating in professional societies
  • Maintain and protect the wellbeing of all clients
  • Avoids legal challenges by keeping client information confidential
Requirements:
  • Working towards, or has obtained a degree in Behavioral Science or related fields (such as Developmental Psychology, Special Education, Elementary Education, Applied Behavioral Analysis, Child Development)
  • 3-5 years of experience working with a range of children with Autism, developmental disorders, and typically developing children*
  • Knowledge of Autism, ADD/ADHD and developmental disorders
  • Energetic, passionate, creative and motivated
  • Ability to work within a team atmosphere
  • Ability to receive and implement constructive criticism
  • Excellent written and communicative skills
  • Desire to continually learn and grow in order to assist children in achieving their full potential
  • Able to travel and work in client’s house and work/play on floor with child
  • Clean driving record and full coverage insurance with reliable transportation
  • Professional in attire and demeanor
  • CPR/AED/First Aid certified

Shadow


About The Position:

  • Provides direct one-on-one support to students according to recommendations and program guidelines in the school setting
  • Assists student in his/her academic skills
  • Assists student to increase functional communication skills, social skills and other socially significant behaviors in order to increase independence in school setting
  • Assists in the development of relationships between peers
  • Consults and collaboratively works with CEO, school administration, teachers, parents, and behavioral therapists on program elements for student
  • Provides regular feedback to supervisor regarding student progress and performance
  • Contributes to organizational mission and goals
  • Attends meetings, school events, trainings and seminars as needed
Requirements:
  • In process or completion of Bachelor’s Degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or related field preferred
  • Demonstrates knowledge of best practices in developmental and behavioral interventions (ABA preferred)
  • Minimum of 2-3 year experience working with children and/or children diagnosed with Autism
  • Spectrum Disorders and/or other developmental delays
  • Experience with children ages 2-18
  • CPR Certified
  • Clean background check (Drug Screen and Criminal Background Check)

BCaBA


About the Position:

  • Experience with implementing functional behavior assessments with children with autism.
  • Strong clinical background in administering verbal behavior assessments.
  • Conducting language, play, and skill-based assessments.
  • Designing, implementing, and/or training others using individualized language, play and skill-based curricula.
  • Supervising in-home 1:1 programs for young children with autism.
  • Collecting, graphing, analyzing, displaying and discussing data-based progress.
  • Knowledge of the principles and practice of Applied Behavior Analysis which includes:
    • General behavioral assessment.
    • Strong Ethical Standards.
    • Knowledge of the behavioral impact of developmental disabilities, as well as the cognitive, educational, vocational and social challenges encountered by persons with developmental disabilities.
    • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks/goals for self and others.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills with individuals and groups at all professional levels.
  • Effective and creative negotiator and problem solver.
  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to meet Unique Pathways, LLC’s driving requirements
  • Dependable method of transportation
